Bear hunts at Libby's have experienced a 70 to 90% success rate. Baited bear stands are provided for bow hunter or rifle hunters. Numbers of active stands per hunter are never a problem. A guide ratio of one to each four hunters in provided. All transportation to stands and boat and motor for fishing is included. Bears are skinned and meat boned for the freezer. Each group of hunters has their own log cabin with bath right on the lake. Home cooked family style meals are served in the lodge around the hunter's schedule by Ellen and her crew. Early reservations are a necessity, but cancellations may open up last minute bookings. WEEKLY RATES (Sunday - Sunday)
The only additional moneys needed would be for gratuities for the crew and guides. For the non-hunter, the fee is $850/week with a minimum $500 deposit. Spike Camp Bear Hunt (Sunday - Sunday)
Come hunt where you don't have to worry about other hunters, the success is high and service is second to none. Fishing for native brook trout and landlocked salmon can be excellent in September.
